Privacy Policy
SignGo (signgo.app), operated by M2PB.
This Privacy Policy explains how M2PB (“M2PB”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use SignGo. We keep this short and specific: we collect what we need to run an electronic-signature service, and we do not sell your data.
1. Information We Collect
- Account data— your email address, an optional name, and authentication credentials.
- Documents— the PDFs and images you upload, the fields placed on them, and the resulting signed files.
- Audit-trail data— to evidence a signing event, we record a SHA-256 hash of the original document, the signer’s email, IP address, browser user-agent, and consent and signature timestamps.
- Billing data— your plan and subscription status. Card details are handled by our payment provider; we never receive or store them.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to create and secure your account, process documents and signatures, generate audit certificates, provide customer support, manage subscriptions and billing, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your documents to train models or for advertising.
3. Legal Basis
We process your data primarily to perform our contract with you (to provide the service you signed up for). The audit-trail data is processed based on your consent to sign electronically and on our legitimate interest in producing reliable signature evidence. We also process data where necessary to comply with the law.
4. Where Your Data Is Stored
Your files and data are stored on infrastructure operated by M2PB on our own servers. Data is isolated per user through row-level security so that your documents are accessible only to you and the parties you involve in a signing. Because our infrastructure and operations are U.S.-based, your data may be processed in the United States.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers needed to run SignGo — in particular our payment provider (Dite Gateway) to process subscriptions — and only to the extent necessary. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the security of the service.
6. Data Retention
We keep your account and documents for as long as your account is active. Signed documents and their audit trails may be retained longer where needed to preserve the evidentiary value of a signature or to meet legal requirements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at support@signgo.app. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
8. Security
We protect data in transit with HTTPS encryption and isolate each user’s data through row-level security. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to apply reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we hold.
9. Children
SignGo is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and to remember your language preference. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date below and, where appropriate, notify you.
12. Contact
SignGo is operated by M2PB, which acts as the controller of your personal data. For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@signgo.app.
